Mike Robertson, CPCU
Mike Robertson, CPCU, founded and directs Risk Concepts Insurance Brokers with Executive Vice President, Kelli Robertson, CISR and Vice President Serena Kenney.
First licensed as an insurance broker in 1983, Mike’s career includes every facet of insurance brokerage sales and management – including more than twenty years of experience as a brokerage principal. Prior to founding Risk Concepts, Mike was Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and a major shareholder of a Bay Area brokerage that was ranked in the top 1% industry-wide in the United States.
Mike has attained the professional designation of “Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter” (CPCU), widely considered to be the highest academic standard in the property/casualty insurance industry.
Mike prides himself on long-term client relationships and attributes this to managing his client’s interests in the capacity of a “trusted advisor” and true advocate.
Kelli Rond-Robertson
Serena Kenney, CLCS, CISR
In 2015, Serena became an agency principal with Risk Concepts. As well as being an agency principal, Serena continues her role as a Client Advisor and Account Manager. Serena Campbell is responsible for the day-to-day needs of many of our clients, including handling claims, renewals, and a wide variety of inquiries/questions.
Serena started her insurance career with Risk Concepts in 2006 as a part-time Insurance Assistant. She quickly obtained her insurance license and became a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager. Well-known for quality customer service, the Risk Concepts culture also strongly supports continued education. To that end, Serena has earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.
