Things to Do For Halloween In Lafayette, California

Are you looking for things to do in Lafayette this Halloween? Here are a couple of ideas that offer some family fun.

Trick or Treat Street : Trick or Treat Street is a fun and safe Halloween event created for both children and parents alike. Participants can trick or treat on Mt. Diablo Blvd. from Oak Hill Road to Dewing Avenue as well as in La Fiesta Square beginning at 4 p.m.  Participating businesses will be handing out a variety of treats and coupons, and each will be clearly marked with balloons and posters. Be sure to come in costume and get a special treat. The event will last until about 6 p.m. when you’ll be invited to head to the Plaza for a movie and a costume contest. Don’t forget to bring your trick or treat bag!

The Lafayette Halloween Haunted House: This “not-too-scary” haunted house takes place at the Lafayette Community Center on October 25 & 27 – 29, 2013 from 5 until 7pm each day. A Scarier edition is available from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. The Center is located at 5000 St. Mary’s Road in Lafayette. Cost is $5 for children 8 and older and $3 for those 7 years of age or younger. Proceeds benefit Lafayette Youth Commission.
